  • This page contains information of how to update the Tensor-I22 firmware.
Important:
* BIOS update recommended in case the system is unstable, or required fixes have been released. * Incorrect BIOS update has a risk for system brick, therefore follow the guide step-by-step.

Preparing the USB Flash Drive with BIOS Updater

  1. Connect the USB Flash Drive (UFD) to your computer and format it to the FAT32 file system.
  2. Download and extract the BIOS Update package:
    Default BIOS: tnsr-i22.prd.zip (MD5: 4323b2018cfd4fcab125ff12e6123d58)
    BIOS with external TPM support: tnsr-i22.tpm.zip (MD5: 2d721d1ba0bfd06281e679bbe359fd4e)
  3. Copy the extracted files to the prepared UFD.
  4. Disconnect the prepared UFD and connect it to the target Tensor-I22 unit.
  5. Power up the Tensor-I22 unit.
  6. Press the F7 key during the boot until the "Select boot device" menu appears.
    Note: it may take a while.
  7. Select the UFD on the menu and press ENTER.
  8. The system will boot to the EFI Shell, and after 5 seconds, the automatic script will start.
    Note: Do not press ESC while the countdown.
  9. The BIOS flashing process will start.
  10. Follow on-screen instructions
