* Download and install the correct version of the deamon:

[http://www.fit-pc2.com/download/airtop/Linux/mint/17/airtop-fpsvc_1.0-1_upstart.deb airtop-fpsvc_1.0-1_upstart.deb] For Linux Mint 17 / Ubuntu 14.04
* Note, the package adds "acpi_enforce_resources=lax" string to the kernel boot line
