fit-Uptime

fit-Uptime is a miniature UPS designed for Compulab mini-PCs and other 12V devices. Compulab developed fit-Uptime after identifying that this is the single most important element for improving fit-PC dependability.

  • Compatible with CompuLab enclosed/SBC products (IPC2/IPC/fitlet/fit-PC4/fit-PC3)
  • Compatible with Intel NUC and other PC powered from 12V
  • Input: 12V DC
  • Output: 12V DC
  • Switching downtime for the output: < 50ms
  • Li-Ion polymer battery with 18Wh capacity
  • Operating temperature: 0°C to 40°C
  • Storage temperature: -20°C to 45°C
  • Plug/jack dimensions: 5.5mm x 2.5mm barrel
  • Dimensions: 80mm x 68mm x 32mm
  • Weight: 240gr

Operation

fit-Uptime operation consists of two power pass circuits:

  1. Output follows an input (UPS battery bypassed)
  2. Output from UPS battery

Power button:

  • Long press enables UPS battery output
  • In order to enable battery output either connect an input voltage or press the power button. Green LED indication appears.

Green LED indication:

  • Off - UPS output circuit is cutoff (disabled) to save battery life
  • On - UPS output circuit is turned on, or input voltage connected to fit-Uptime (and sourcing the output)

Blue LED indication:

  • Constant - sourcing the load
  • Blinking - UPS battery is being recharged
