Win 8 BitLocker doesn't work on Intense I7

I try to aktivate BitLocker on my brand new Intense I7, Win 8.1, but it says that it is not compatible with TPM. It is very important for me to use BitLocker with TPM so how do I get it to work. Would it help to update to the 12 dec 2013 Bios update?
