SCP drops the box PC off the network

I have 10.04 server installed. Whenever I SCP to or from the PC, it drops off the network. Rsync is not affected. Any ideas? This occurs with any size of file from any source/destination.

In BIOS setup, have you disabled C-states and used GV3 instead ?
