How can i reset BIOS

Post by mdavids »

Hi,
My regular DVI LCD screen did not work with the adapter cable that was delivered with my FIT-PC2i. Ultimately i managed to get something on my screen with my regular TV and a HDMI connection. It seems more people suffer from this problem.

But my problem is mucht bigger now, so please help....

In an attempt to get my regular LCD screen working, I tried this with the BIOS: I changed some kind of graphical setting from SVDO-DVI to VBIOS default. And guess what... after that, my TV went black... it only returns when the OS is completely booted. But i don't wan't that.

Can anyone please help???

I have a solution, but i need help:

Can anyone go to his BIOS and write down exactly the key's that i (blindly) need to press te restore the graphics-setting from VBIOS Default back to SVDO-DVI? All the way from F2, arrow right, arrow right... etc.

I know of no other way to fix this. If you do, please let me know.

My FITPC2i is brand new and it is just very sad that i can't use it right now :-(

Thank you so much!

Ok, i managed to fix it already:

shorting the J4B2 connector pins for a few seconds did the trick.
SDVO-DVI is the default, so i am back in business. :-)

Thanks to the SBC-FITPC2i Single Board PC Reference Guide.

The key strokes would have been:

F2, F9, Enter (for yes), F10, Enter (for yes)
(for anyone that will ever run in the same problems and ends up here for a solution)

Or look here for the 'official' solution:
