Hi,
We have tried to install Debian 6 & Ubuntu 8 with no results as the compilation fails....(the Kernel is compiled OK but the graphics driver crashed when we tried to compile it)
We need to run XWindows in Linux with the driver for GT500. We can run it with VESA but it doesnt work efficiently so....
Has anybody has compiled rpm or deb packages ready to install in Linux???
We dont know why is so difficult to run fitPC with Linux & XWindows.
Any suggestion? Anybody has XWindows running on a fitPC2i with driver GMA500?
Thank you very much,

I suggest you look at the instructions provided for installing Ubuntu on Fit-PC2.

Hi

Do you want to compile your own Ubuntu distribution with built in drivers? If you just want to install linux mint or ubuntu, just follow this link http://www.fit-pc2.com/wiki/index.php/Linux_on_fit-PC2
