DC Power Extension cable

Post by pforson »

Hi,

I'm looking to buy a DC Power extension cable like this for my Fit-PC2. 2 questions.

1. Will this work ok?
2. Do I need the 2.1mm DC Power Exension cable or the 2.5mm cable?

Thanks,
Pete

fit-PC2 is very tolerant to voltage irregularities. It will still work if voltage drops to 8V. You should plan for max power draw of 1A.

I hope this helps.

OK. I've now worked out that many different sizes of dc power adapters exist (the physical size of the plug).

The plug on the fit-pc 2 power adapter seems rather small so its certainly not the most common sizes of 2.1 or 2.5 mm.

Can I get confirmation as to the exact size (internal and external) of the plug because it is vey hard to accurately measure. It may be 1.3mm but I'm not sure.

Ta,
Pete
