Hi, I am trying to use the fit-pc2i but cannot boot from the hard disk. If i entire the bios I see the following:
Primary Master: [none]
Secondard Master: [None]
I set the option to [auto] and reboot but the hard disk is not detected.
I have tested the hard disk in another pc (Not a fit-pc) and it works perfectly.
I was wondering If anybody else has experienced this problem before?
I have firmware version 09/14/10 and the the hard disk is a hitachi160 gb sata drive.
Thanks in advance.

Hi gabrielh,
Yes I have tested the hard disk on another PC. The hard disk is detected in the bios and the machine boots into Ubuntu.
I have also swapped the hard disk drive in the fit-pc with a new one and I still have the same problem. If I look in the bios, Primary Master is still set to [None] and the PC does not boot

Re: fit-pc2i does not detect hard disk
Hi gabrielh,
It appears the problem was with the sata adapter in the fitPC2.
I removed the adapter from the mother board and reseated it making sure
that it was properly aligned and all pins were making contact
The hard disk is now detected.
Thanks.

Re: fit-pc2i does not detect hard disk
Hi
I have the same problem; however cleaning and re-seating the adapter does not do the trick. The Fit-Pc2i has been working for quite some time, but after changing the hard disk, it has stopped recognizing the hard disk in BIOS. I have tried several disks, same problem (I know the disks are not faulty).
Any ideas on what to do?
Thanks
Jens

Re: fit-pc2i does not detect hard disk
If you putting back the original harddisk, does he detected? If it doesn't, you would suggest you to check the RMA option
