HDHR Prime [and Windows Media Center]? [HDHR DVR]?

Post by wy1z »

I have an HDHR Prime and an older FITPC2 I plan to test WMC from Windows 7 on. Currently using a Dell Inspiron mini tower with Windows 7 which I want to downsize.

Based on how the PC2 experiment goes, for those who also have an HDHR Prime and use WMC, how might the fit-PC4 hardware work? 8 GB ok or 16 GB needed?

Anyone testing HDHR's DVR on a PC2 or PC4?

Wondering if the PC4 can do WMC and/or HDHR's DVR?

Plan to keep it on 24x7. How is the heat management?

Thanks in advance.

We don't have experience with HDHR or WMC.
fit-PC4 is stronger than fit-PC2. However you may want to go for fitlet-T that is using even stronger yet economical AMD processor.

fitlet-T:

fitlet-T and fit-PC4 used to operate 24/7 with outstanding heat management.
