Hi,
I have two units of the FM-4E4U model and plan to use the four front facing Ethernet to connect directly to other appliances.
Question: Are the four (4) front facing Ethernet ports autosensing or do we need to use crossover cables?
If not autosensing is there away to make them autosensing or a link type port. I want to avoid the support when the end user plugs in the wrong cable type.
Thanks
Grant

Re: FM-4E4U autosensing
Hello Grant
The FM-4E4U face module has auto-sensing feature. You can use both the regular and crossover cables.

Re: FM-4E4U autosensing
Hi Gabriel,
Sorry I was not using the correct terminology.
So just to confirm the ports are automatic MDI/MDI-X
Which means we won't need to use crossover cables when connecting other devices that is, no switch in between.
Thanks
Grant
