 CentOS and MySQL I am planning on buying an Intense PC i7 Pro with 16GB RAM and a Samsung 128GB 840 Pro SSD for my CentOS 6 and MySQL 5.6 (or MariaDB or Percona - not sure yet).
Can this even run and can the setup be any better? I have heard that Samsung SSDs performs poorly on Linux?

Re: CentOS and MySQL Samsung 840 SSD series is operational on all fit-PC products in general, and on Intense PC in particular. We do not have such information about its' poor operation under Linux, though we haven't run stress test on it.
