I can't turn on the computer, it doesn't wake up

LED Diagnostics feature is available only for models configured the with FM-AT3 FACE module

1. Possible reason: Power supply failure

Solution - Check power supply (PSU)

  • Make sure the LED on the power brick is lit.
  • Make sure the DC cable is not damaged and connected properly to the machine.
  • Make sure the AC cord is properly plugged to both sides (Wall mounted well plugged).
  • Try to plug the DC cable to the alternative DC socket on the Airtop3.

Possible reason: Memory failure

Solution - Check memory (RAM)

  • Verify diagnostic LED (R) lit Green*.
  • If lit in Yellow it means memory initialization has failed.
  • Verify RAM modules seated correctly and firmly in their respective sockets.
  • Try to eliminate faulty memory sticks by swapping them with one another.

*LED Diagnostics feature is available only for models configured the with FM-AT3 FACE module

Possible reason: Peripherals failure

Solution - Check Peripherals (HDD/SSD/USB)

  • Unplug peripherals and try to power up with bare minimum, that includes HDD/SSD/USB devices.
  • Verify power up without storage. Sometimes damaged drives may cause the overall system to malfunction.

Airtop3 BIOS reset

Reset BIOS settings to default for Airtop3 revisions 1.2 and later:

  1. Unplug power cable from the Airtop3
  2. Open the service door
  3. Remove the disks cartridge.
  4. Reset the BIOS by pressing the low profile push button SW1 (RTC_RST).
  5. Mount the disks cartridge and close the door.
  6. Plug the power and power up the PC (either auto-on or pressing power button).

  LED-B (BIOS)*
This LED is Yellow after display initialization.
If BIOS setup menu is needed, the DEL button is functional from the moment the B-LED is Yellow.
The B-LED is Green when the OS takes charge of the system.
