I'm randomly getting an error on boot that states:

irq 16: nobody cared (try booting with the "irqpoll" option)
I made same research about this and noticed kernel developers blamed the BIOS in similar scenarios. They also advised booting using irqpoll but in all cases everyone complained about system performance being extremely degraded.
This is the relevant snippet from my dmesg but I'm attaching it to the post anyway. I'm also attaching the output of "cat /proc/interrupts"
