IR drivers available for download

IR receiver drivers are available at http://www.fit-pc2.com/download/xp-drivers/IR.zip

IR is installed in all fit-PC2 units with SN 090501-000 or higher.
All fit-PC2 units ordered online are shipped with IR capabilities.
IR is currently supported under Windows only.

That's excellent. Seems to be installing fine.
However, an orignal Microsoft MCE remote does not seem to be doing anything on the IR port. Am I missing something here?

Get EventGhost to run.
Check the readme within the IR driver.

Button presses on the remote are now registered in Eventghost, but it will time to configure it to work in applications... Can Eventghost be closed or does it have to stay active in the task bar for it to function properly?

EventGhost should stay active in the task bar all the time you use IR.
