Intel GMA 500 no video.

I have a fit-pc2i with the Intel GMA 500 graphics chipset. I have upgraded from Windows XP Home to Professional and installed all of the available drivers from the website. I have downloaded the video driver from the intel website for the GMA 500. The problem is that when I install the Intel driver and reboot, I get a blinking light on my monitor and no display. I can reboot into safe mode and VGA mode without a problem and I can uninstall the driver and use the default Windows XP drivers without a problem but when I install the intel driver...no display.

I am connected via DVI and I've tried manual and automatic installation of the driver and I've tried swapping monitors with no luck. Anyone have any helpful advice or suggestions?

Thank you!! :)

You could try the drivers provided by compulab themselves. The display driver is in the fitpc2 (not fitpc2i) directory. Maybe this works and fixes your problem:
