We test 2 ieee1394 PCIe cards with LSI L-FW643E2 chip on it. One from startech and one from commell. The commell is detected by FIT PC2, but not the startech.
When we use a PCIe adapter/extender from HWTOOLS with the FIT PC2, the startech is detected.
Do you know why?
Startech mentionned to check the bios options.

PCIe devices have to be USB 2 devices. There is an possibility that your adapter/extender device provides backward compatibility for USB 1.1 device
