Thanks for the howto, but you might be better off in the Linux MInt Board (or the one for Ubuntu 10.10, as Mint 10 is based on this version rather than lucid).

I have never tried it because it will be a SLOW system... I am running from a CF Card connected via USB. After some optimization the system is fine and speedy. Has anyone tried running Linux from an SD card, using (say) a 1GB ram disk so as to dispense with the hard disk? Is this even a sane idea? ...

When executed before the reboot (aka if you followed the instructions closely), you should not get the fitpc2 kernel.Since uname -r gives 2.6.31-34-fitpc2 wont the command above also remove the kernel and headers just installed?
